Jenny, I've Got Your Number
Jenny was born when the Doctor's hand was forced into a tube, and a tissue sample was taken. She was born to fight, having to do so almost as soon as she stepped out of the machine that made her, already knowing the necessary combat skills and history to do so.
Oh, and she was also a fully grown woman when she was born. The whole thing was really kind of nifty.
So, the Hath attack and Jenny has to collapse a tunnel, and pushes a big button (not unlike her father has done in the past) to do so. Then Cline, your stereotypical hot soldier (played by the lovely Joe Dempsie ♥–), has to take them to be processed. On the way, Donna, not thinking it's right for her to not have a name, names her Jenny (a pun on "generated"). The Doctor and Donna are slightly cold to her, but Donna warms up fast, and she and Jenny have nice conversations about stuff (yes, stuff). Cline takes the group to meet General Cobb, who informs them all of the history of the war of Messaline (the planet they're on), and then orders them locked up in a cell because he doesn't need their crazy pacifist views tainting the soldiers (nevermind that Jenny hasn't been converted. Yet.). This is after the Doctor discovers a secret that only fuels the war further (Tunnels! Yay!) So, the Doctor, while in prison with Donna and Jenny, goes on about how Jenny isn't really his daughter, which upsets her slightly, until Donna steals his stethascope and then forces the Doctor to listen to the fact that she has two hearts.
Oh, yes. Donna and Jenny pwned the Doctor.
Anyhoo, so, Jenny then breaks them out of prison by snogging everyone's favorite stereotypically hot soldier, Cline, stealing his gun, forcing him to open the door, then leaving him tied up.
And the poor homeboy just thought he was going to get a little action.
The Doctor, Donna, and Jenny run off to go find the hidden tunnels, and, while the Doctor is busy trying to open the door, Jenny begins to question him and Donna about....everything. Donna answers, and then the three of them take off running as some soldiers begin to pursue them. When they come across a lattice (I think that's a good word for it, anyway) of beams. Jenny, knowing that the Doctor needs time disable the killer beams, runs off to fight the pursuing soldiers, saying she'd kill if she has to.
The Doctor then gives her a very fatherly lecture about how she always has a choice about killing. She argues with him, then runs off to fight. After shooting at the soldiers, she has a bit of a conversation with General Cobb, before she shoots out the light and runs off to join her daddy dearest and Donna. She tells the Doctor she didn't kill the General, and the both of them are very happy about this until the killer lasers (which the Doctor had managed to disable) came back. Jenny, being resourceful and soldier-like, managed to flip and things through the beams, getting through safely to the other side.
So, our plucky heroes, all alive, began to make their way toward the source (which is what they were trying to find but I forgot to mention it), and the Doctor and Donna tell Jenny that she could travel with them.
Then Jenny and the Doctor hug. It's cute. Really cute.
They then find a door to the "temple" where the source is, and meet Martha, who had been trekking along across the planet's surface. They then continue along and find the source and figure out that the war had been going on for seven days, and that the source is to be used for terraforming. Hooray terraforming!
So, the Doctor explains this, and stops the war. But then Jenny gets shot, because General Cobb is stupid and is not willing to believe the war is over. Well, he was going to shoot the Doctor, but Jenny stepped in front of him and saved him from the bullet.
So, she dies.
The Doctor cries (well, gets emotional) over her corpse, gets very angry, and then the Hath and the Humans (represented by everyone's favorite stereotypically hot soldier, Cline) asked the Doctor if they could give her a proper ceremony. He agrees, and they (a Hath and Cline) prepare her to for the ceremony.
But then she wakes up. Turns out, Jenny is awesome and can sort of regenerate.
So, she steals a shuttle (sort of like how her dad steals the TARDIS, funny how that works), and takes off, even though Cline (looking adorably confused) tries to stop her. She wants to go save planets and stuff, like her dear old dad.
